Supposedly

Angels have

wings.

Fluffy, white, bird wings.

And they all only have ONE PAIR

of them.

They CAN

have BLACK wings

But only if they're BAD angels.

WHITE wings are for the GOOD angels.

Angels are also NEVER bad.

They ALWAYS have halos.

They fly around a happy,

Fluffy Cloud Heaven.

They have no moral doubts, these white-winged angels.

They are flawlessly good

and nice

without effort.

Tell me:

If angels are really like this,

if they're always white-winged paragons of goodness,

how did the devil ever come into existence?

How did Lucifer rebel against God

and where did the

angel

who guards Eden

ever get his flaming sword?

Moreover,

what do we say about

those particular angels

who have THREE pairs of

wings?

Not one, THREE.

I can't take much more. I feel temper come up. Ready to be released. I compact it down. I feel the sadness under it. Always present, never waning. It makes it hard to cope. I work until I collapse. The Eternal Outcast

These are the words that have burdened me throughout my life. Their insurmountable weight forever entrenched in my conscious. Being denied since childhood that human warmth for which we all long for. Always the odd one out, always the last one chosen, the one no one wanted to play with. Reminded that a favor was given under the pretense of compassion. Indeed, children can be so mean spirited. And not unlike my childhood my adolescence was greeted with open arms by discontent. Never got the girl, always made fun of, shunned from the group like a waste of space. The woman in the mirror smiles with her tired empty eyes. Deep sadness now behind that smile she wears as her disguise. Without you, her time ticks slowly by, her minutes turn to years. Life goes on relentlessly like the drip, drip, drip of her tears. Another breaking dawn without you, it breaks her lonely heart. Another day alone without you, another day apart. Heh heh heh, very nice!

Tis true as well. Not all angels look the same. Cherubim aren't adorable, they're actually pretty terrifying.
Seraphim aren't just floaty peace-keepers.
There are all sorts of types of angels; even a multitude that we don't even know about.
